| Subcellular_localization | The lipophilic dyes Nile Red and Mitotracker Red were used to assess the co-localization of TMEM-135 with fat droplets or mitochondria, respectively. No co-localization of TMEM-135::GFP and Mito- Tracker Red (mitochondrial) was observed in the worm, whereas TMEM-135::GFP and Nile Red displayed very strong colocalization. Data provide strong evidence that the TMEM135 protein is associated with fat droplets. | ||
