PatternThe fusion protein ANT-1.2::GFP, which was clearly detected after the elongated stage of the embryo was observed in intestine, pharynx, and head neurons and does not change appreciably during development. Nevertheless, the GFP signal is seen in seam cells, only in L1-L2 animals. Furthermore, authors observed in some ant-1.2::GFP animals a very faint GFP signal localized either in the body-wall muscle cells, or in the hypodermis, suggesting the possibility of a broader ant-1.2 tissue expression. Also expressed in pharyngeal muscle cells.
RemarkPicture: Figure 4.
ant-1.2 = W02D3.6
