| Pattern | We found that wht-2::GFP expression in embryos was limited to intestinal cells, first being detected when the intestinal primordium was composed of four cells (E4 stage). The activity of the wht-2 promoter persisted in intestinal cells through embryogenesis into adulthood. In adults, the wht-2 promoter was also active in a few unidentified head neurons located near the pharynx. | ||
