q71) mutation, which has restored the ability of self-fertilization by reparation of the mutated site with a fragment of
ftr-1. "
ftr-1" is a fragment of
ftr-1, a paralog of
fog-2. The minimal region of conversion (45 nucleotides) is indicated with a box in bold. C. An example of
