(A) A Coomassie Blue-stained SDS-PAGE gel showing the total protein profiles of different developmental stages: embryo, L2 larvae, L4 larvae, and mixed-stage worms. (B) An identical gel was used to transfer proteins onto a nitrocellulose membrane and immunoblotted with anti-CSQ-1. A 64 kDa band is detectable at all stages of development. A weak signal is detected in the embryo, and this increased in the larval stages.
