In par-4 embryos during prophase and metaphase, LET-99 was lo- calized to the entire posterior cortex instead of a band. PAR-4 is required to inhibit LET-99 localization at the posterior cortex.

let-99 : par-1

LET-99 was localized to the entire posterior cortex in par-1 embryos at prophase and meta- phase, instead of in a band pattern as in wild type. Posteriorly lo- calized PAR-1 inhibits LET-99 recruitment to the cortex at the very posterior end of the embryo.

plx-1 : unc-60

In wild type, lin-32p::mRFP::unc-60A 3'UTR was intensely detected in every R(n).a + p. However, in plx-1 mutants, R(1).a + p, R(2).a + p and R(5).a + units displayed pronounced decreases in expression of mRFP.

smp-1 : smp-2 : unc-60
