In the unc-6(ev400); vab-10(tk27) double mutants, nuclei stayed at the anterior or posterior ends in most cases, indicating loss of the link between turning direction of DTCs and translocation of their nuclei in tk27 animals. unc-6(ev400) nuclei were always translocated to the leading edge of the DTCs irrespective of the turning direction.
