Enables poly(A) RNA polymerase activity. Involved in cytosolic mRNA polyadenylation and positive regulation of meiotic cell cycle. Located in P granule. Expressed in Z2; Z3; and germ line. Is an ortholog of human TENT4A (terminal nucleotidyltransferase 4A) and TENT4B (terminal nucleotidyltransferase 4B).
