Late endosomal/lysosomal adaptor, MAPK and MTOR activator 3 (Lamtor3) encodes a scaffold protein that associates with the MAP kinase kinase and the MAP kinase encoded by Mekk1 and rl respectively. It regulates the vein promoting function of rl during wing imaginal disc development in third instar larvae.
MAP kinase-specific phosphatase (Mkp) encodes a member of mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatases that inactivates MAPKs. It dephosphorylates the phosphorylated active form of the products of rl and bsk.
tay bridge (tay) encodes a nuclear protein acting in the MAP kinase pathway by preventing the product of rl activation. It is present in most cell types, and accumulates strongly in differentiated neurons.
Mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatase 3 (Mkp3) encodes a member of the mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatases that inactivate MAPKs. It dephosphorylates the phosphorylated active forms of the products of p38a and rl.
Suppressor of Cytokine Signaling at 16D (Socs16D) encodes a member of the SOCS family. It binds to the product of Pvr when catalytically active and is required for downstream activation of Target of Rapamycin Complex 1, but not the product of rl.
PHENOTYPE: This locus controls formamidase activity in liver. a allele strains C3Hf/Rl, 129, DBA, 101, etc. show low activity/heat stability; b allele strains C57BL/10ScSn, BALB/c, SEC, C57BL/6, etc. show high activity/heat stability. Heterozygotes have intermediate activity. [provided by MGI curators]
SRm160 (SRm160) encodes a conserved RNA-binding protein that participates in the exon junction complex and is involved in pre-mRNA splicing and 3' end formation. It participates in somatic sex determination, cell death, retinal development and the control of circadian rhythm. Direct targets include rl.
rolled (rl) encodes the mitogen activated protein (MAP) kinase, core component of the RAS/MAPK pathway. It is inactivated by the phosphatases encoded by PTP-ER and Mkp3. It phosphorylates a diverse set of downstream cytoplasmic and nuclear effectors, which impact cell fate decisions in a wide array of tissues.
