DESeq, FDR < 0.05, log 2 fold change > 2.
Transcripts that showed significantly decreased expression after heat shock at 34C for 75 min, recovered at room temperature for 20min and incubated at 20C for 3 hours.

DESeq, FDR < 0.05, log 2 fold change > 2.
Transcripts that showed significantly increased expression after heat shock at 34C for 75 min, recovered at room temperature for 20min and incubated at 20C for 3 hours.

Cuffdiff version 2.2.1
Transcripts that showed significantly increased expression after treated with 10uM NO-donor DNIC-1a (Fe2(u-SR2)(NO4)) for 15 min and then transferred back to NGM plates for 4 hours before being collected, comparing to animals treated with M9 buffer.

N.A.
proteins whose thiol oxidation status changed at least 1.5-fold and up to 9-fold upon peroxide stress treatment in wild-type and\/or prdx-2 mutant strains. Proteins identified using OxICAT analysis (treated with 10 mM peroxide for 30 min), liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry.

All data were analyzed using Stat View J 5.0, with all experimental data checked for assumptions of homogeneity of variance across manipulations using Bartletts test. Once the assumptions were satisfied, the data were analyzed by one-way analysis of variance followed by Dunnetts multiple comparison test. When homogeneity was not evident in the data, we used the nonparametric KruskalWallis test, followed by the MannWhitney U-test with a Bonferroni adjustment. Differences were considered significant at P < 0.05.
