TRA-2B:HA was detected exclusively in the nuclei of dissected tissues of larvae and adults, including those of the intestine and somatic gonad (sheath and distal tip cells). Nuclear localization of TRA-2B in somatic cells is consistent with previous studies using antibodies (Shimada et al., 2006) and reporter transgenes (Lum et al., 2000; Mapes et al., 2010)
