Expression starts in late embryos and appears diffuse and widespread. Post hatching expression is brighter and present in the pharynx, intestinal tract and spermatheca.
Expression is confined to older larvae and adults, and is seen within the developing uterus and spermathecae. Expression is both cytoplasmic and nuclear-localised.
MIG-5::GFP is also present and cortically localized in both P11 and P12 and their progeny, P11.a, P11.p, P12.a and P12.p, and in SDQL and PVM, two of the neurons derived from the QL neuroblast.
Expression of gcy-35 was consistently observed in URX, AQR, and PQR sensory neurons; gcy-35 expression was also observed in ALN, SDQ and BDU neurons and variably in AVM, PLM and PLN neurons, pharyngeal and body wall muscles, and the excretory cell.
